Got on the water @ 6:00 a.m. and caught several fish best time (or i got to right place) was 8:30, brought home 8 fish 3 were nive (1# plus) other nice eaters. I fished main river at around 13 feet with trees logs etc. to around 8 feet caught most fish at 6-7 ft deep. All were caught with jigs no minnows i'm trying to wean myself from them. Spent from 10:00 loking for new places esp. in the shade new places. off river at 12:30.

Sounds like the water conditions and crappiei are coming around to the way you like to fish Danny. I am going to try the main channel the next time I go as well. I really like to catch them out there.
