Brandon McIntosh and I spent the afternoon trying to just find a place out of the wind out from kirbys and ended up getting on some nice fish. We ended up with 27 but nearly all were over a pound. Although it was windy, I cant imagine having more fun than pulling those slabs out of the stems on ultralights. 1/8 ounce purple and chartreuse jigs seem to be the ticket, and i think the chop really made the fish less skiddish. McIntosh seems to believe that we would probably have enough weight to place in the tourney saturday but since he's getting married this weekend i guess we wont make it out.

Boys that one big speck looks like it might weigh 2 1/2 or 3 lbs. It's as long as the cooler. I know a bunch of boys that would like to have seven of those crappiei Saturday. Looks like about 12 lbs to me. Woods
