The WACA tourney on 6/19/2010 will be an open tourney. Club dues are waived for the tourney. The cost of the tourney is $40 and this includes big fish. This should be a good tourney. There's lots of good fishing on this lake. The tourney site will be at the Vienna Landing just south of Aliceville. For more info go to www.westalabamacrappie.com

Great Idea Steve. I was already wondering if we could weigh in early. Hey now I just need to know where you and the wife will be fishing?

Can anyone give the physical address of the ramp. I need directions.

I will work on the actual address when I get to the office but if you come out of Aliceville on 14 West a few miles there will be a big brown sign that says Vienna landing. That road dead ends at the ramp after a few miles. You coming Big Papa?

Really want to come, if I do not have to work I will be there. Where, when can I pay the entry fee for TEAM BIG PAPA my partner Tommy Jenkins will be fishing with me. Never fished this water before I will need "SOMEONE" to point me in the right direction since I will not be able to pre-FISH....

Sorry this is so late, but fish shallow.

You can pay at the ramp. I would say get there at least 30 min prior in order to get that taken care of. I would help if I could but I have only been there once and that was this weekend. There were crappiei on the main channel and in the runs. It is a lot like Columbus as best as I can tell from one trip. Old river runs, new river cut and lots of sloughs of the river runs.
