Fished today from 7:30 until 10:30 & the bite was on. I only kept 5 to eat for supper but managed to pull about 40 out. Not sure of actual count but stopped counting at 25 . I was having to much fun pulling them out. Nothing real big 1 1/4 lbs was the biggest. Yep actually weighed the bigger fish. Caught about 10 or so in that range & the rest were from 3/4 to 1 lb. Didn't catch very many under 9". Found them on main river channel in 18 - 25 fow. Caught all fish on 3 different tops fishing close to bottom. Was using single pole jigging using the Crappie 101 jig Blue Moon with Bobby Garland Glo Mini Shadi in solid white. The bite was real light & had to watch line close. Fished Saturday & Sunday & caught 13 Sat. & 12 Sunday in about 3 hrs of fishing each day. Also managed to pull out an 8 lb blue cat today. That sure was fun on jig pole with 4 lb line. Picture is 5 I kept but wasn't largest of bunch. The fish in sink are from Saturday.

Ricky. Thanks for the report. Sounds like I should have been fishing instead of hunting.
