Went today starting at day light. I was sitting in the back being I don't have a boat yet. We managed to pull 5 out but nothing of any size. On the other hand my ole buddy Carl managed to pull 23 out. Some were some nice fish with several in the 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 lb range. He went north and we went south. He says they were still biting good when he left, he just got tired of fishing by himself. Well guess I'll be headed north on Tuesday. He was fishing ledges with structure. water dropped from 6 ft to 18 fow. He was using a orange / white head with a red / black / yellow tail tube jig with nibblets . I helped clean his just so I could say I handled some descent fish.
