John Harrison and Earl Harris caught these crappiei on Grenada lake today. They were slow trolling jigs and caught some mighty nice crappie. John Says the Grenada crappie are already getting back in good shape after the post season spawn stress.

I had the privilege of fishing with John Harrison the first week of March for 5 days. Even though the weather conditions were very poor, we still had excellent fishing and put some really big fish in the boat. I attribute this success completely to John's hard work, outstanding knowledge, and his lifetime experience on Grenada Lake and surrounding lakes. If you are interested in a guided crappiei trip, you won't do any better than John Harrison. This was my first time fishing with John and I am already planning a return trip. In addition to his guiding skills, he has excellent people skills and a friendly demeanor that makes him a good fishing companion.
