Arkabutla Crappie fishing report

Mr Ken and Mrs Shirley Franklin went to Arkabutla this weekend to tr the crappiei out. They said they caught a bunch of short fish was about it. They were slow trolling minnows in 7 to 9 foot of water.

Pomoxis is a genus of freshwater fish in the sunfish family (family Centrarchidae) of order Perciformes. The type species is P. annularis, the white crappiei. The common name crappie (pronounced /ˈkræpiː/), refers to either of the Pomoxis species, both of which are extremely popular game fish.
