Barkley Lake crappie fishing report

I fished Barkley Lake today. The fish bit good till noon and then shut off on me. This pic shows a size average of the catch. Water temp was 67, wind out of SW . water color dingy. fished minnows on B&M Poles. fish were shallow in 7 feet of water.

Pomoxis is a genus of freshwater fish in the sunfish family (family Centrarchidae) of order Perciformes. The type species is P. annularis, the white crappiei. The common name crappie (pronounced /ˈkræpiː/), refers to either of the Pomoxis species, both of which are extremely popular game fish.
