Fished Bay Springs yesterday and today. Fish have done an unexpected flip flop recently. There has been a monster insect hatch this year. The fish are in shallow water. Typically fish would be deep this time of year normally 19 to upper 20's depths even up to 30. We've been catching fish 10 to 12 feet deep in 13 to 16 feet of water over wood cover. Found out that the fish were eating dragon fly larvae when they were deep a while back but they have changed over to mayfly larvae now. Every fish is full of insect larvae.
