Fished bay springs today and yesterday afternoon. Fish have really moved up toward shallower water. Caught alot of fish in 13 to 19 feet of water. There are still some good sized black crappiei on the main lake points but almost all the white crappie have moved to shallower water. Had some success trolling jigs but the water level has been up and down alot. It has them holding pretty tight to cover.

Pomoxis is a genus of freshwater fish in the sunfish family (family Centrarchidae) of order Perciformes. The type species is P. annularis, the white crappiei. The common name crappie (pronounced /ˈkræpiː/), refers to either of the Pomoxis species, both of which are extremely popular game fish.
