My name is Justin Taylor. I'm from Dyersburg, Tn. I mainly fish Reelfoot and Kentucky Lake. I got into fishing when I was little by my uncle who passed away about 5 years ago. I had never been slow trolling for crappiei until after I graduated high school and bought my first fishing boat. I set it up to troll and bought me some poles and started going with my great uncle who lives at Reelfoot, and he taught me alot about slow trolling, and alot I have learned by trial and error. I enjoy reading everyone's post anduse the tips I learn. Hope to talk to more people from the site, and hopefully meet some of you.

A flat is just as it sounds. This is an area of shallow water that has no defined drop into deeper water. The water depth is uniform or gets deeper very gradually. Flats can be found at the backs of all the bays, in coves within the bays and on the main lake where the flat land adjacent to the river was covered up by water when the rivers were backed up by damming.
