Partner and i went to dept water friday morning, on water before 1st light and had to wait to run but boy does my S>I> show good in the Dark. We went to some of our known dept water holes and started day good, i was catching throw backs on jig and partner nothing, Went to next hole and partner went up 3 to 0 with keepers, i finally caught 1 keeper and the Big Eye in the sky broke horizin and it was like the fish just dissapeered. Fished and sweated untill 11:00 released the 4 fish (mine was blind in one eye so i took ribbing) and called it quits. This may wind my fishing untill this HOT weather breaks river starts day @ 86 degrees and climbs to 92!!! Still looking for the honey hole in the shade with a good breeze.

Danny when to sun gets up try changing the SI color to Amber2. It will help a lot with with the glare of the sun. I am with you. It is just about too hot to enjoy being out there right now after 10:00 am.

Larger, heavier crappiei that really helps out the total weight of a tournament angler's catch. Example: 'I had a limit of 1 1/2-pounders, but was lucky and caught a 2 pound kicker.'
