Cold Weather Gear

I broke down and bought me a set of the Artic Armor cold weather suits. After trying it out several times during the cold weather I have to say it's all they make it out to be. The coldest temps I tried was 26° with a W/C of 23°. My wife even tried it out before I got home with a temp of 19° & W/C of 13°. She was impressed too & now wants a set for herself. Which I agreed to if she would fish with me sometimes. I had on a thin set of under clothes with just the suit and I never got cold. Usually when I fish in cold weather I have on so many clothes I can hardly move. This makes it much easier to move around in and much more comfortable. I haven't tried out the floating part wanting to wait until the water warms up a bit. There was a special on the green Bay Packers edition with a $114 off discount. The fish don't seem to mind the color and it sure doesn't bother me.

Danny,
There a couple places in Alabama that sells them. One Shot Archery in Gordo & Archery unlimited in Prattville. You can also go to the website where I bought mine & get phone numbers. They're kinda pricey but to me worth it.

That would be you then danny. I'm a fisherman not much on the catching part yet but we're having fun working on it though. LOL. Your're gonna love the suit, makes a world of difference in the cold weather.

Used my new cold weather suit today, 32 degrees and 10-15 mile per hrs wind today. I did not get the least bit cold & i'm a very cold natured person. I would advise to used this type of equipment esp. if could find same quality at less expensive price. Only caught one crappiei but 1st time have got to go in couple weeks, i fished from 10:00 to 4:00.
