Crappie are still scattered on Sardis

wife and I hit it Sunday, the 4th of July and pulled cranks for about 5 or 6 hours. Caught probably 25 to 30 Crappie with 13 GOOD keepers with the biggest pushing 16 inches. Looks like they are fattening up abit. Caught them anywhere from 15 FOW to 25 FOW and mostly on ledges and old road beds. LOTS of pleasure boaters and jet skis so be careful cause they do not pay attention to where they are going. We had 2 or 3 pontoon boats almost run us over

Hey Don Don. Thanks for the great report. Good luck to you and Nessa up there at the fruit jar Saturday. By the way. You are in the running for a free cap now.

I wish I could come fish the tournament but it is that dreaded Drill weekend for the wife so I will have the children. Me and Tyler would come but little Caroline is only 20 months old and can not quite crank in a crappiei yet. Bright side is at least mom is not deployed.
