Hi. My name is David Prine, Jr. I'm from Ripley, Tn. and love crappie fishingi. About two months ago, i recieved a 1986 Bass Tracker Pro 16 that belonged to my wife's grandfather. He passed away some 18 years ago and the boat has been sitting out in the weather uncovered since his passing. I have since gutted the entire boat and have rebuilt.
The first outting took place Jan. 28, 2011 at Sardis. The boat ran perfect. I have set it up for trolling and the fishing was ok that day. Looking foward to many days on the water.

A flat is just as it sounds. This is an area of shallow water that has no defined drop into deeper water. The water depth is uniform or gets deeper very gradually. Flats can be found at the backs of all the bays, in coves within the bays and on the main lake where the flat land adjacent to the river was covered up by water when the rivers were backed up by damming.
