My buddy Stacy Cooper caught these crappiei on Lake of Egypt Il Saturday Caught 40 crappie with the Biggest one 14 inches 1.79lb

Pomoxis is a genus of freshwater fish in the sunfish family (family Centrarchidae) of order Perciformes. The type species is P. annularis, the white crappiei. The common name crappie (pronounced /ˈkræpiː/), refers to either of the Pomoxis species, both of which are extremely popular game fish.
