Do floating or sinking fishing lights really help catch crappiei after dark?

They definitely help. the light will generally attract numerous bait fish and as a result, crappiei. However, you still have to be in the right spot and if fishing in the summer, will attract a lot of bugs. I actually have had better luck with a light in the late fall and early winter.
