Good but Tough day at Pickwick 3/15/11

I fished Pickwick today and it was tough. The water is a foot or two higher than normal pool. It seemed like the fish were scattered everywhere. I caught fish shallow, deep, and everywhere in between. The wind blowed enough all day to make me keep my warm clothes on. Luckily the sun did shine for about 10 minutes just enough to tease and then cloudy for the rest of the day. I did catch some good fish. The big fish weighed in at 2lbs 10 ozs. I had two other fish a few ounces over two pounds and one just under 2lbs. Yep there is one 9 and a halfer there too on the left. I gilled him with the hook and he wouldn't go back down so I scooped him up and kept the little fellow. Fished vertical all day of brush and rocks. All of the bigger crappiei were gorged out on shad. Most had at least two or three shad in their belly. That being said white was the color.
