I fished Greer's Ferry lake again yesterday. Caught several crappiei but the size was not great. Caught most trolling double minnow rigs in 16 to 17 foot of water on the river ledge.

Pomoxis is a genus of freshwater fish in the sunfish family (family Centrarchidae) of order Perciformes. The type species is P. annularis, the white crappiei. The common name crappie (pronounced /ˈkræpiː/), refers to either of the Pomoxis species, both of which are extremely popular game fish.
