Homemade Bait Tanks
Does anyone have a homemade bait tank. I'm thinking of sitting up one in our shop to keep minnows in myself. I was just looking for some ideas. Any help will be appreciated!

I made one out of an old chest type deep freezer,i just fill it about 3/4 full and place a pump in it.I only keep minnows for about 3 month, most of the time feb. thru may. so it kinda of cool then and I don't have many to die.

That's what I'm lookin for tnjeff. I'm having trouble finding a non working freezer. Anyone have a clue where I might find one around the dyersburg area?
I have just about the same set up at my place with an old deep freezer but I bought an agitator for mine and it works great. Just make sure you silicone it up real good. I used to plug mine up when it got hot outside until it went bad. I could keep minnows all summer. I still have the lid on mine though. It helps keep the birds and critters out.
