Cold fishing Sunday Jan 3. Light wind high 35 and cloudy. Me and Mich managed 24 Sunday evening.

Jason, is that the river you and Michelle are fishing in the picture? I see you got those new 14 ft. BnM trolling poles & Tite Lok pole holders. You should enjoy fishing with them for years to come. Woods

Yes that is the river where a side slough feeds in. There are 2 secondary humps that come up out of the river channel. The tite lok is the best thing since sliced bread. The B&M poles work good too. I had looked at a lot of rod holders and new when I seen the tite loks I liked the way they were made. Drift socks are on the way maybe then I can get on the main lake and use the wind to my advantage. Went for about 2 hrs sunday evening to try some new equiment and there was so much ice on the main lake had trouble trying to move around caught one blue cat. Water temp below the surface showing 35 degrees. It has been warmer the last two days maybe I will try them again this weekend.
