Hey Guys. I got my new Humminbird 898 SI installed yesterday and everything looks great except I could not get the GPS map screens to come up. What am I doing wrong or is there something wrong with this unit?

Hey bud. Welcome to the site. Were you by chance trying to get the unit to work in the garage? GPS must have a clear shot at the skyline so they will not work most of the time in a garage or under cover. The humminbird units will skip the GPS screens if there is no signal to the GPS receiver. If this is not the case then check the plug from the GPS puck to the unit itself and restart the unit. If this does not work you will need to call Humminbird Support.
