I fished the Yellow Creek area on Pickwick Sunday. I caught about 15 crappies and one of them weighed in at 2.25 another 1.5 and 5 at about 1 lb. I used a Pink and Black 1/16 ounce jig and the fish seemed to prefer about 16 feet of water.
I ran into a crappie101.com user, Dale Parker who is a good crappie fisherman and he had a few also.
