July 4th limit

Fished from 7 to 12 on Grenada today and caught a limit but lost 2 monsters trying to air mail them in. The bites picking up on grenada!!

I want to go BAD to Greneda .......where and when is prime time .....

Prime time used to be when the dogwoods are blooming. Usually, around the 2nd week in April. That's also prime time for the lake to be so crowded you can't get a boat in edgeways. They can be caught all year for the most part, you just have to find em. This time of year, they'll be in a little deeper than in the spawn and they'll be more spread out, which tends to favor trolling a little more. During the prespawn/spawn, vertical jigging in knee-deep-4ft water is usually the way to go.
