Kentucky Lake

Went to the lake today, ended up with a nice limit of fish. Most of the fish were caught this day by casting a jig. The water color was stained and the water temp was about 45 degrees. Today the East wind seemed to have little effect on the black crappiei, for the fish were slamming the jigs. Fun trip!

Nice Good looking Crappie! How deep were they? Were they on structure or open water?

Sorry it took so long for a reply. The fish were caught in 15-25' of water over cover.

This past Tuesday (Feb 12th), went back to KY Lake and I took my Dad. We ended up with 22 keepers. We had about a 50/50 mix of white and black crappiei. Most of the blacks were caught casting jigs and the whites were caught bottom bouncing. Good Trip!
