My Name is Larry Bivens, my boat is a Tournament V18 (Tracker) w/120 hp motor. I live in Jonesboro Arkansas (northeast corner of state). I fish Poinsett Lake often because it is only 15 minutes from my house. I also fish Sardis Lake in Mississippi where I have a cabin located on lower lake. I slow troll Double minnow rigs and Jigs tipped with minnows most of the time. I also enjoy single pole fishing when productive. I have fished Crappiemasters tour for several years but the highest we (my son Michael and myself) ever placed was forth at Sardis three years ago. I have really enjoyed the Crappie 101 site since I became a member early this year and would like for us (members) to someday have a fruit jar tournament centrally located for us to meet and put faces to these names. I haven't fished any tournaments this year due to illness in family but I really enjoy competing and seeing different methods of catching crappiei.

Thanks for stopping by We are the site dedicated to crappie fishingi. We bring you tips and techniques from crappie country's top pros and the everyday fisherman not to mention the most complete information on crappie lakes from all around the country.
