My name is Matt winter. I fish out of a maroon G-3 175 with a 50 horse 2 stroke. I fish primarily Columbus lake here on the TENN-TOM because it is close to home. I have fished Grenada alot this summer, due to my large crappiei addiction. As far as techniques, I slow troll, pull cranks, and hand pole. Slow trolling is my favorite technique, but I will do whatever it takes to catch them crappie.

Thanks for stopping by We are the site dedicated to crappie fishingi. We bring you tips and techniques from crappie country's top pros and the everyday fisherman not to mention the most complete information on crappie lakes from all around the country.

Pomoxis is a genus of freshwater fish in the sunfish family (family Centrarchidae) of order Perciformes. The type species is P. annularis, the white crappiei. The common name crappie (pronounced /ˈkræpiː/), refers to either of the Pomoxis species, both of which are extremely popular game fish.
