Shoals Area Crappie Association has their 2nd tournament yesterday. The weights for Pickwick were down but the numbers were still there. Some of the teams said they caught 30 plus fish. All of the top teams were pulling crankbaits. Check out our site www.shoalscrappie.com for results and pictures.
Thanks

Some nice Crappie in the pics. Is that Jeff White I see in one of those pic? Hope we can find a few while we're up there this weekend. We're staying at JP Coleman and gonna try in front of it and head something about Goat Island whereever that is.

Pomoxis is a genus of freshwater fish in the sunfish family (family Centrarchidae) of order Perciformes. The type species is P. annularis, the white crappiei. The common name crappie (pronounced /ˈkræpiː/), refers to either of the Pomoxis species, both of which are extremely popular game fish.
