I was back on Pickwick today. The weather started out over cast and light wind out of the south. We started out spider fishing with jigs but couldn`t get a bite. We changed over to crankbaits at 10am and started catching crappiei. They we in 14 to 16 ft of water. We didn`t catch anything deeper than 18ft. Brought 29 home.

krappiekrazy thanks for the report. You are going to drive Charlie crazy. His boat is in the shop and he is chomping at the bit to go to Pickwick.

What area you fishing in Pickwick? My wife and I are heading up for the first time ever to fish it this Saturday through Monday. I'll be pulling Cranks. Oh, is there a pole limit on Pickwick and what depths and colors to I use?
Thanks DonDon

If we fish Saturday, it'll be late evening. Might just ride and look at the lake then. I'm guessing looking at the Pickwick map that I need a Tenn license to fish below the dam

Yep below the Dam will require a Tn license. It is a beautiful lake you guys will have a great time.
