I went out on Pickwick and caught about 40 wedneday. All tight line jig single jig no trolling! The bite was between 12 and 20 ft on tube jigs. Color and minnow tip just depend on the fish. I was changing color quite a bit according to the water clarity. Chart. and anything on the shallow fish. Deeper fish wanted darker rust or red and black. Minnows seemed to draw smaller bites larger fish were hitting the jig only. Creek mouths in Yellow creek near goat island and small inlet toward main lake were the better spots. Good luck cold water bite seems to be good.

Our bunch has had the same for the last two weeks but the bite in tributaries and coves has went to less than legal fish. Two of our local guys had a 55 day of good fish on the main river ledges today. I guess the deep winter deep water bite has set in. Fishing in yellow creek goat island area has dropped off to small less than 9 inch fish. Looks like the keeper fish have moved out to the main river ledges. Tough fishing until spring marchish time. Need a low wind day to catch fish out on the main river.
