Fished Pickwick with friend Marty today caught double limit. A few bigger fish are starting to show up.

I didnt make it to Bear, had a blowout on shoals creek bridge, made a left and lauched at shoals, caugtht 20 in shallow water, 4-7 ft spawning. All still had eggs though. They are close as can be here in the Shoals to spawning if not already.

I put 4 buckets of 1/2 inch pvc 5 ft by 5 ft wide to the left of my moms pier last summer, I caught 3 slabs off it last night as the sun set. I never seen crappiei at her pier.

how deep were ya catching them?

I managed 15 myself in the wind last weekend. all of mine were prespawn and were in 10-14 ft.

Rick we were single pole vertical fishing around wood cover. Fish were holding tight to cover that day. Fishing same depths you were.
