Me & my buddy, Larry Thrasher, fished Sardis on 10/18/10. We caught 55 but only kept 14... We had some good ones.. Fished 24 ft water with jigs/minnow. Had a blast...

Good looking mess of fish, I'm going to try Sardis one of these days. It's been 20 years since I fished at Sardis Lake.

Pomoxis is a genus of freshwater fish in the sunfish family (family Centrarchidae) of order Perciformes. The type species is P. annularis, the white crappiei. The common name crappie (pronounced /ˈkræpiː/), refers to either of the Pomoxis species, both of which are extremely popular game fish.
