Sardis Lake 1-31-11 John Woods Guide Service With Hope

What a way to end the month. Hope and I fished from 11:00 to 4:00 culling down to a double limit of 40 crappiei. We were using live bait. Tried tipping some jigs with minnows but the straight minnow was the meal of the day. Had a chance to field test the new BnM PST143n Trolling Pole with the metal eye. The pole worked great. Strong but sensitive to detect the light bite. I need a good strong pole to get these Miss. hog crappie in the boat. Jack the poles performed great meeting all my needs. I called my friend Charlie Kent to see if he wanted to meet me at Sardis to fun fish. But after our last trip this past Thursday and me leaving the pole holders at home and two blow outs on the boat trailer. Charlie declined my invitation. For this time of year it was one of my better trips. It was good to see my frinds William Clark and Billy Compton on the lake. I will get a picture up soon. John Woods Guide Service

Nice mess of fish John. I am going to get over there to Sardis one day. I've spent the last 3 months less than an hour away and can't seem to find the time to get down there.
