While most people were watching the Super Bowl, us die hard crappiei fisherman were out on Sardis Lake. Hope and I were late getting started. We started at 1:00 pm and fished till 5:00 pm. We ended up with 38 crappie. We were using 14ft BnM trolling poles, double crappie rigs and live bait. I guess those bad boy's know that the bad weather is on the way and had to feed up. The bite was good and the weather was great for Feb.6th. warming up to about 50 degrees. John Woods Guide Service

Carl, somebody said those fish with whiskers eat good. And the stripe most people can't tell from crappiei when they are on the plate.

John, Is that a skipjack herring in that mess of crappiei?
