Rudy Chambers from Chicago Illinois and I fished Sardis today. Even though we had rain and wind we managed to catch our limit of crappiei. Mr Chambers wanted to get some crappie fishingi experience. He wants to guide in Illinois. He now knows how to contend with bad weather. We used 14 ft. BnM poles with live bait in 11 to 20 ft water. Woods

It was challenging catching the day's limit of crappiei on 9-15 with the inclement weather on the 2 day guide trip. On 9-14 on Arkabutla lake, I was really getting discouraged with the weather being the way it was and catching nothing but catfish but Mr. Woods did an excellent job despite the conditions. On the 2nd day on Sardis lake, we came home with our limit and some nice keepers. With his expertise in fishing, I highly recommend him if you're ever interested in having a crappie guide.

Thanks Mr. Woods. I'm looking forward to the next time we meet.

Refers to the degree of transparancy of the water you are fishing. This determines the distance and depth that a fish is able to see an object (such as your lure) under the water.
