John Willis and Wally Childress out on Sardis lake today with John Woods Guide service for a guided crappie fishingi trip. The guys were slow trolling double rigs with Southern Pro Jigs on 14' B&M poles. It is windy out on the lake but they have caught some really nice crappiei as you can see in the picture.

Pomoxis is a genus of freshwater fish in the sunfish family (family Centrarchidae) of order Perciformes. The type species is P. annularis, the white crappiei. The common name crappie (pronounced /ˈkræpiː/), refers to either of the Pomoxis species, both of which are extremely popular game fish.
