I fished Sardis Lake with Dale Edgar & Chris Hemphill Sunday. When we got to the lake Sunday morning the wind was out of the east at about 15 miles. We put in and went way up the lake where I had fished the last time I was there. To rough to fish there. we caught a couple of crappiei there. Moved to Clear Creek to get out of the wind. About lunch we were checked by the game warden. We had 11 crappie that weighed 14 lbs. Nine white & two blacks. Later in the afternoon the wind laid some and we moved back to the main lake. We ended up with 37 crappie over 12 inches long making for a good day. Dale & Chris fished 8 - 14 ft BnM poles total. I did not fish, I was the net man and minnow man. Dale & Chris loved the BnM poles stating they will probaly buy some. Dale caught a double on one pole both fish being over 12 inches. Chris and I thought we would never get Dale off the lake after that.Im also glad Dales coon dog came home but thats another story.THANKS GUYS, John Woods
