WATER TEMP.MID-LAKE 39-43.
The crappiei are biting!! We are catching fish deep 15'+ on the south end tite lining a jig over brush or tree tops near the river channel or pitching a slip cork over brush and standing timber in shallower water.
2-29-2012 had 25 nice crappie from the lick creek area pitching a 1/4oz. tube jig under a slip bobber 7'to 10' deep in 8 to 13 fow in standing timber.Didnt make big run with the wind blowing 40 mph.
The spring trips book fast so dont wait to book.
