John Harrison was crappie fishingi out on Grenada Lake yesterday. He caught several crappiei including this hog slow trolling minnows about 10foot deep in 14 to 16 foot of water.

Pomoxis is a genus of freshwater fish in the sunfish family (family Centrarchidae) of order Perciformes. The type species is P. annularis, the white crappiei. The common name crappie (pronounced /ˈkræpiː/), refers to either of the Pomoxis species, both of which are extremely popular game fish.
