I want to add a Monitor to the front of my boat to be able to view my HB 1198 si which is mounted on the console. Having to turn around is a pain in the neck (Literally)I have been some research and know I will need the VC-1 cable from humminbird. I was wondering if anyone else has done this and any suggestion on type to get?

Well I put the wrong connection. It's actually a RCA connection. I had VGA on the brain for some reason.

I have not tried to add a VGA monitor yet but I have ready reviews that said the video quality was not good. I may try it myself in the next week or so.
