Well Tyler and I fished our first crappiei trip of the year this Sat. The weather was tough no doubt with rain and wind and cold it was a challenge.
The crappie were on no doubt. I bought 2 pounds of minnows in anticipation of fishing a couple of trips but we used all but 10 minnows Sat.
We bought home 35 crappie all over 12.5 inches including these 2 hogs Tyler caught. One was 2.28 and the 2.04. We were slow trolling double minnow rigs and I must say I may have the best net man ever now that I moved to a ultra light long reach net.

Great picture and post. I assume that this was a Sardis trip, but location was not mentioned.

Maybe the regulars always know the location, but most casual viewers do not.
