Crappie USA tournament on Bay Springs Lake

Well my brother Tommy and I fished the Crappie USA tournament on Bay Springs lake in MS this weekend. The only reason we fished it was because Bay Springs was one of Charlie's favorite Lakes. We finished 2nd on the Semi-Pro side and had a heck of a time.
We caught our crappiei in relatively shallow water around 6 feet deep and we were slow trolling double minnow rigs.
As most of you know I made the move to HI-TEK rod holders this year and I have had the opportunity to use them on 5 pre-fishing trips and 1 tournament. I am convinced the low profile of the actual holders and the really clean design allow me to land more fish. The other thing is these holders are set them and forget them as far as adjustments. I am perfectly happy with the design and performance of the HI-TEK rod holders and thank them for coming on board as a sponsor.
