Feb. 18 Sardis Radio Tracking
Put in at Hurricane Landing today. Water temperature at the ramp was 46 degrees. Searched from Coontown Crossing and Holiday Lodge up the river to the Highway 7 bridge. Only detected one tagged fish, 10 feet of water, 40 degrees, near some standing dead trees off Sardis Wildlife Refuge. Hope to do a little better on Saturday.

I don't think any of the 3-4 boats I saw in that upper end of the lake were carrying crappiei fishermen. Several were checking jugs or trot lines and I think one was either testing his boat in preparation for the season or trying to sell it to his passenger. I expect to see a few more tomorrow nearer the dam.
