Here is a sonar picture of the trees where I caught a large number of crappiei. If you look close you can actually see the crappie on the trees. I caught probably 20 crappie off both these trees and as the sonar indicates they were suspended at about 9 to 10 feet deep with the trees being in 16 to 18 feet of water. I think this is the most conclusive evidence that it is possible to search and locate crappie using the side finder.
