Bite is good early and late. We caught these bottom bouncing in 18' to 20' off of the main river channel on friday. Shiners and jigs tipped with shiners both produced. The best part about this time of year is most all Crappie fisherman have already give up. If you can stand the heat now is a great time to really load the cooler.

Bottom bounce I dont care what lake you fish on - the bottom bounce technigue works ....good to use in the winter or fall too......bell sinker on the bottom and 12-16 inches form it tie on ( about a 1/2 inch out away from you main line ) a # 1 and a minnow ....and hold on....

I just love to catch fish.......simple ain't it!
