The familiar team of Ronnie Capps and Steve Coleman won the Semi-Pro division of the tournament on Pickwick last weekend. The team pretty much put on another clinic winning convincingly with w 1.17 pound lead over 2nd place. The team hails from Tiptonville, Tennessee and came to the scales with with a 2-day total of 22.11 pounds and earning $4,000.00. Ronnie and Steve were targeting deep water channels with natural and manmade structure all over the north half of Pickwick Lake. The team was using live bait on their B'n'M Crappie Rigs and their Signature Series B'n'M poles. Like many of the other teams Ronnie and Steve had issues with the survival of their fish and had to deflate the air from the bladder with a hypodermic needle to allow the fish to get over the bends. Congratulations to to Ronnie and Steve on a great finish.
Check out the recipe forum for a great dish we got from the team called "Donna's Famous Cut-Up"
