Side Imaging Demo Video 3

This side imaging video was created to help demo how to interpret the scans from a Humminbird side finder unit. Please email us or leave a message on the forums telling of your interest in side imaging videos. The creation of the videos are very time consuming and we would like to know if there is a genuine interest in the videos we produce.

UPDATE: Information from Humminbird - Our friends from Humminbird have been very supportive of our site and efforts. After viewing this video, they have offered a solution to the interference mentioned in the video. Here is a excerpt of the email received:

If you see this type of interference it is coming form the PWM (pulse width modulation) that is used in Minn Kota and Motor Guide to maximize the battery life.

Simple call our customer service number 800.633.1468 and tell them exactly what your setup is. They will send you free of charge the necessary parts to eliminate this interference.

Going forward we are putting nickel coatings inside the transducers, included ferrite rings on Interlink cables and have new power cords with the suppression rings.

There is an installation manual attached to give you an idea of what I am talking about.

Please see attached installation manual at the bottom of this post.
