The Tenn-Tom Crappie Club had our Classic this Saturday. Man it was really hot out on the water with temps reaching the 100 mark. The heat did not keep this group of really good fishermen from bring some nice crappiei to the scales. In First place was husband and wife team Jesse and Nonna Wright. They brought 9.60 ponds of crappie in and caught their fish single hand poling cover on the Aliceville lake. Rounding out the top 5
(2) Joe Wilson & Steve Perritt
(3) Ray & Tyler Looney & Charlie Kent
(4) Marcus Honnell & Brad
(5) Tracey and Scott Humber

Big Fish went to Ray Looney and Charlie Kent with a 1.64 post spawn weight crappie.
Charlie and I caught our crappie hand poling jigs in 5 to 8 foot of water. Never really settles in on a color but the Flamingo and Slimy were the best producers.
Here is a picture of Tyler with the 1st and 2nd big fish a 1.64 and a 1.62. We caught these 2 big crappie and just could not fill in with and other good crappie.
