Well we had a good tournament this weekend. There were 10 boats that fished the event. It was a really cold morning, actually a really cold day for Mid-May. Charlie and I won this event with 9.15 and Joe Wilson and Steve Perritt finished 2nd with 8.55. Charlie and I caught about 70 crappiei during tournament hours. The great majority of them were 10 and 11 inch fish. We caught all the crappie on crappie101.com heads "Hooker" and "Vitamin C" Most all the crappie and all the larger ones came from 5 to 7 foot of water.

A great time was had by all and we invite anyone to come join us next week in Aberdeen for another tournament.
By the way. The reason this report is short and no pictures I I lost my phone with all the info on it.
The Columbus Fire Department Benefit Tournament was won by Virgil and Cindy Tingle with the big creel of the day. 9.38 pounds.

Refers to the degree of transparancy of the water you are fishing. This determines the distance and depth that a fish is able to see an object (such as your lure) under the water.
