How to create a crappie slab bed

This is a video I made recently on how I make slab beds. Dual reason for the name. They are made from saw mill slabs and yes they tend to hold slab crappiei.
I really like to make these because the materials are free and they last a very long time. I have also found these slab beds are easy to fish without hanging up very much.
Couple of tricks is cut the slabs all to the same length, it is best to work with lengths of 8 to 4 foot long.
It takes me about 20 minutes to put one in that has 20 slabs in it.
The slabs are 12 to 16 inches wide that I use so they create one heck of a shadow.
Hey give it a try and find out for yourself.Read more
